Research
Growing up in Venezuela exposed me firsthand to some of the most pressing issues society faces today. My interest has since evolved to address social, spatial, and environmental justice, especially regarding the degradation and fragmentation of urban ecosystems. My research now studies green infrastructure as a tool to strengthen the relationship between nature and the built environment. It also addresses the implementation gap, seeking to understand how state-of-the-art knowledge can be more effectively translated into policies and practices. Additionally, I explore diverse form of data visualization to make academic content more accessible and actionable, bridging knowledge gaps and fostering inclusive, data-driven decision-making..
